Sons del Camí

‘Sons del camí’ or Sounds of the Way is a series of spiritual and contemplative music, closely linked to the Feast of St Ignatius, the Ignatian Way and the Manresa 2022 project.
 

Sounds of the Way begins within the framework of the Manresa 2022 project, which is centred around the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the saint's stay in Manresa. St Ignatius spent almost a year in this city, leading an ascetic life in a simple cave overlooking Montserrat on the Cardener River, where he had the experiences that inspired the book Spiritual Exercises.
 

If anything, any concept identifies all the actions that take place in the Manresa 2022 environment, it is undoubtedly this: change, mutation and transformation, whether of spaces, environments, or from a more personal point of view.
 

This cycle of soulful and contemplative music began in 2014 in the capital of Bages. With a programme of eclectic and quality music that includes different styles: world music, ancient music, contemporary music, new sounds, etc., with the common denominator of soul and mysticism, close to St Ignatius.
