8th edition - 22nd and 23rd March 2025

The event takes place in the Cloister of the Manresa Museum - Museu del Barroc de Catalunya, within the framework of Catalonia World Region of Gastronomy 2025.These are dynamic and participatory events with guided tastings and showcookings, where visitors can discover, taste, and buy the most representative agri-food products of the region and the community of Navarre, and enjoy parallel activities in the Cloister, with games and children's stories, live music, and enjoy snacks and drinks.

  • 11:00 – 11:45 am: SHOWCOOKING WITH JORDI ÀVILA: “The Pilgrim's Lunchbox: from the roads to haute cuisine”

    Jordi Àvila is a gastronomic populariser and advisor. Advisor for the Girona Excel·lent seal of the Girona Provincial Council, he currently collaborates on television programs (Tot es Mou on TV3) and radio (La Fonda i La Tarda on Catalunya Ràdio) and in the press (La Gourmeteria del Nacional.cat).

    Price: €8/person. Includes tasting.

     

  • 12:15 – 1:00 pm: SHOWCOOKING WITH JORDI LLOBET: “L’esmorzar de forquilla” (The Fork Breakfast)*. Accompanied by snippets of gastronomic history and tradition

    A proposal to enjoy the traditions, local produce, the Bages landscape, culture, meat, and wine. Chef Jordi Llobet will give a live demonstration of some fork breakfast recipes and Maria Estruch, an expert in ethnolinguistics and rural gastronomic culture, will provide a glimpse into the popular culture of the fork breakfast and its link to the agricultural landscape and tradition of the Bages region.Within the framework of Catalonia World Region of Gastronomy 2025 and with the collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Diputació de Barcelona, and Bages Turisme.

  • 1:30 – 2:15 pm: TASTING OF DO NAVARRA WINES AND NAVARRA PRODUCTS WITH IKER ANDRÉS

    Iker Andrés is the head of wine tourism at the Otazu wineries in Navarra and will lead the tasting of three wines from his winery paired with Navarra products present at the market of the Conference, in order to highlight the cuisine of his territory within the Ignatian Way.

    Price: €8/person. Includes tasting of 3 wines and 3 appetizers.

     

  • 5:30 – 6:15 pm: TEXTILE HERITAGE PAIRING WITH NÚRIA MALÉ AND MANRESA TURISME

    A pairing inspired by the textile heritage of the region, highlighting a period of industrial splendour that is still alive in the territory. Manresa Turisme, through Anna Castillo and Gemma Matamala, will give voice to the wine and industrial heritage, and the artist Núria Malé, founder of Mon Malé, will share her knowledge about the craft and textile industry to weave a story that will connect history, territory, and savoir-faire.

    Price: €8/person. Includes tasting of 3 wines and 1 appetizer.

 

  • 6:45 – 7:30 pm: TASTING OF DO PLA DE BAGES WINES AND PRODUCTS FROM THE BAGES MARKET

    Led by sommelier Anna Castillo, a tasting of DO Pla de Bages wines which will be paired with different local products present at the market of the Conference. A gastronomic proposal to awaken the senses and discover our territory.

    Price: €8/person. Includes tasting of 3 wines and 3 appetizers.

  • 11:00 – 11:45 am: SHOWCOOKING WITH CRISTIAN NOVA, IVAN OLIVA AND MARIONA TORRES (RESTAURANT COMPLEX): “The Path of Ignasi Domènech: Origin, Tradition, and Avant-garde”

    The chefs of the Complex Congost restaurant (Manresa) will pay tribute to the cuisine of Ignasi Domènech, reinterpreting his recipes with three inspirations: origin, tradition, and avant-garde, which will allow us to better understand his gastronomic philosophy with local products. This showcooking is supported by the Gremi d’Hoteleria i Turisme del Bages.

    Price: €5/person. Includes tasting.

     

  • 12:00 – 12:45 pm: SHOWCOOKING WITH VICENTE URSÚA: “Navarra, from the land to the path”

    Representing the invited Ignatian territory, chef Vicente Ursúa, specialized in R&D and creativity around vegetables and Navarran cuisine, will give a live cooking demonstration of traditional and modern fusion dishes. Ursúa is the executive chef of the Osasuna football club and also a private chef with twenty-two years of experience in haute cuisine.

    Price: €5/person. Includes tasting.

     

  • 1:15 – 2:15 pm: SHOWCOOKING WITH ARNAU PARÍS AND RAIS ESTEVE: “From the surroundings to the plate: a gastronomic path”

    A four-hand live cooking demonstration by the chefs, gastronomic popularisers, and heads of the Molí de la Vansa oleotourism family project in Boada (Lleida), which is recovering native crops such as vines, olive trees, cereals, and horticulture. Arnau París is a regular collaborator on the TV3 program Cuines with the 'Pim Pam' recipes and was the winner of the 9th edition of the TVE Masterchef program. Rais Esteve was the Creative Director of the renowned Disfrutar restaurant (Barcelona) for eight years.

    Price: €10/person. Includes tasting of 3 appetizers.

     

The presentation and guidance of the activities room will be carried out by Clara Antúnez, graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, master's in Gastronomic Communication, and sommelier.

  • LIVE MUSIC WITH BLUEBELL DUET: 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
    Bluebell Duet are Èric Sans (guitar) and Laura Poulain (vocals and ukulele), a group from Manresa born in 2018 as a duo performing jazz, pop, and bossa nova covers in guitar and voice format, and winners of the Llumplugged 2019 contest.
  • STORYTIME ‘AROUND THE WORLD’ WITH KIDS&US: 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm
    A story in English for children aged 3 to 10 in which a girl receives an invitation to attend the Queen of England's birthday party and travels all over the world to find the ideal gift. When she finds it, she goes to the party... and the Queen also has a very special gift for her and all the children in the audience!
