Since October 1998, Manresa has hosted the Fira Mediterrània, a fair that has become a landmark event for lovers of traditional and popular performances.
The Fira Mediterrània is a performing arts market featuring new artistic creations inspired by the cultural characteristics of Catalonia and the Mediterranean.
The fair has an interdisciplinary nature and brings together different artistic languages: visual arts, circus, dance, exhibitions, music, storytelling, and theatre. The programmed performances come in a variety of formats — small, medium, or large scale — held indoors or outdoors, for adult and family audiences alike.
