Fira de l'Aixada (Medieval fair and market)

The Fira de l’Aixada is Manresa’s Medieval Fair of Light.

It is held every year on the weekend following February 21, when the historic center of Manresa returns to the 14th century, filling with artisans, masters of ancient trades demonstrating their crafts, tightrope walkers, minstrels, dancers, and other performers and attractions from the medieval repertoire. The streets come alive with bustling activity, decorated and staged as if the Middle Ages had come to life once again.
